Cathy Jones
CEO Cathy Jones established Flashcat in 2007. Renowned for her exceptional creativity and unwavering commitment, she has built a distinguished career in filmmaking. Cathy brings a wealth of experience as a Producer/Director, collaborating with award-winning independent production companies including Avalon, IMG Media, Brinkworth, RAW, and Two Four. She has delivered countless premium films and series, captivating audiences worldwide on channels such as BBC One and Two, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky, Fox and Discovery amongst others.
Throughout her career, Cathy has managed and led teams producing ground-breaking factual observational documentaries. Notable recent productions include "Cornwall Air 999", narrated by Dawn French, showcasing frontline responders amidst unprecedented circumstances, "The Dog Hospital" with Graeme Hall, a collection of emotionally powerful films with privileged access inside a renowned UK animal hospital, and "Scrapyard Dynasty," a captivating investigation into Britain’s thriving scrapyard business.
In the world of sport, Cathy has produced documentaries, commercials and live television for many prestigious clients including the International Olympic Committee, the International Paralympic Committee and the All England Club. She has directed biographical interviews with sporting legends such as Roger Federer, Billie Jean King, Tiger Woods, and Michael Johnson. Notably, Cathy spent two years in the USA producing the award-winning series “Blitz” which followed the NFL for Channel 4 in the UK, including the delivery of two live Super Bowl finals.
In the arts, Cathy has worked alongside many high-profile artists and renowned figures including the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Sir Elton John and Julia Roberts. With a life-long passion for music, Cathy has conceptualised, directed, and produced music videos for emerging artists, showcasing her versatility across diverse creative domains.
Cathy's extensive global experience, coupled with her infectious enthusiasm and tireless commitment to excellence, form the foundation stones for Flashcat’s team of media professionals.

Susan Anderson
With over 25 years of experience, Head of Production Susan Anderson is a highly recognised Production Manager who has overseen a wealth of worldwide entertainment and sports events. Starting her career at the BBC and IMG Media, she worked on many prestigious live productions including the Premier League and the Ryder Cup and award-winning series and documentaries including Christopher Reeve: Hope in Motion.
Susan has worked alongside leading international sports marketing agency Pitch International, producing the much acclaimed “Deadline Day”, an observational documentary series for Sky Documentaries and NBC Universal. She was the Line Producer for the award-winning series which looked at the football transfer market to reveal how multimillion-pound deals get done.
Working with Gravity Media, the technical broadcast partner with Aurora Media and Formula E, Susan was in charge of planning schedules, budgeting and organising crews for live global Formula E events at 11 worldwide locations.
Working with the International Tennis Federation, Susan was the Production Manager for a collection of films celebrating the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup, produced exclusively by Flashcat. The films required international location shoots with Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams, Rafa Nadal and Billie Jean King.

Susan’s extensive global experience and excellent communications skills, coupled with her ability to stay calm in high pressure, live broadcast environments, are a huge asset to Flashcat’s team of media professionals.

Jake Earwaker is an award-winning Film Director, Director of Photography and Editor. A graduate with a First-Class Honours in Film Production, he has directed, filmed and edited many documentaries, series, branded content and music videos. He is a highly intuitive programme maker with unquestionable energy and enthusiasm.
Jake has impressive broadcast credits, editing countless drama series including Derry Girls for Channel 4, Archie for ITV and Bloodlands for BBC2.
Working with Flashcat he has filmed and edited many broadcast television shows, music videos and corporate productions.
He has a highly cinematic approach to film making. On location, both on terra firma and when operating drones, he has a brilliant intuitive eye for detail, capturing powerful, exciting imagery which have the ability to transform films. Not only does Jake bring an outstanding creative vision to every Flashcat production but also a strong technical understanding of all aspects of programme making.
